Curiosity has been Oyaje’s compass, guiding a career defined by exploration and calculated risk. Known for his focus on what matters and a commitment to excellence, Oyaje blends introspection with tenacity. His tech journey began at 12, programming over 1,000 lines of code—a passion that led him to earn a Bachelor’s in Communications Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Nigeria. Starting as a Network Engineer at Prodigy International, he quickly advanced, leading the team that built Nigeria’s first fixed wireless broadband network at Startech Connections.

In 2005, Oyaje founded Layer3, motivated by entrepreneurial ambition and a love for impactful experiences. He later enhanced his expertise with an Executive Program at Stanford Graduate School of Business, recognizing that ongoing learning is key in the ever-evolving tech landscape.

Outside of work, Oyaje enjoys mentoring, volunteering, and spending time with family. He also indulges in golf, war and epic movies, books, and podcasts. Though he claims a love for dancing, he admits his footwork remains an endearing work in progress.
